HONG KONG
HONG KONG
We had a short two night stay in Hong Kong at the end of our Japan and China trip before heading home. Having been to Hong Kong prior, we didn’t feel the need to adventure too much. We had already been to Disney Hong Kong, but since we had been to both the Tokyo and Shanghai ones on this trip, we decided to bring it home with a third. Disney Hong Kong is shockingly small, so we spend just a few hours there before heading back to the city. We rode Space Mountain and the Big Thunder equivalent while basking in the Disney magic and took the train back to the city to meet up with Wilson’s friend from high school. Trevor happened to be in Hong Kong visiting family the same time we were, and the boys connected via Instagram after five years since they’d seen each other last. We found out that Shake Shack was also in Hong Kong, so we went for dinner to get some tasty burgers! We ended the night with a ferry ride from Central District (where Shake Shack and the business district is) back to Tsim Sha Tsui, where our hotel was). That Ferry ride gives you amazing views of the Hong Kong city line, and especially at night with all the skyscrapers. It’s always an adventure exploring Hong Kong, even if it’s a few days at a time.
